The Bird!

I was walkiung with my brother and there was a bird under me and my brother. He was garding the nest. Wow I did not know the bird could be so scery.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Art Gallery!

Yesterday we went to the Art Gallery to see an exhibit on clay making and painting. The first part was about Neil Mleod. Second we saw some of Aullen Harding Mckays painting of Afghanistan. Third was the clay exhibit.
Neil Mcleod painting had lots of colors and designs. One he was asked to paint a picture of Regina because he was first Nations. He had a different perspective of Regina. It had even more detail then the rest of his paintings!
Aullen Harding Mckay's were about the war that was going on in Afghanistan, He would take a video and then stop it and print the picture. After coloring it to make it look neater and better. My Favorite one looked like a reacted ship door. There was a net over the door, it was red and green.
Clay. We looked at all the poetry and what kiln it went in. They were really interesting to look at. Then we went to the room and made boxes. Mine was not square but rectangle and circle at the same time. It was a good afternoon.

Earth day!!

Earth day is important to our school, so every year we go out and pick up garbage in the school yard. To help earth day picking up garbage is a good thing to do. Also recycling and sorting your garbage helps the environment around you. So the things that you put in the recycling can be reused later. If you bring it in you can get money for recycling. Help save the environment! GO GREEN!!

The Mae Willson Theatre

Today we went to the Mae Wilson Theatre. I learned a lot of things that I did not know before we went! I learned that the theatre is named after Mr. Wilsons' mom. A website you can visit at:  http://www.moosejawculture.com/. It can tell you all about our tour online.

Needle

Today we go our needles. The same ones we got the first time we got them. I think that the ones we got the second time did not hurt so much. The one the girls only got hurt so much after ward the needle is put into you. I like when I get to know a head of time because than I can take pain median before. My arm is aching. Both of them. Owww!! In grade 8 we get two more needles, unless we get one in grade 8 and one in grade 12. I can't believe we have to go through that again!

Owwww!!

On Monday I was looking for shoes in the closet for Lauran. There was a iron above me and when I moved something it fell on me.

It hurt so much!! That day when I went to put it away I guess that it was not up there right. I now have a bump on my head and a scare will come. Now I think I should blame it all on Lauran. Tell me if you think I'm right? I now have to tell the story to everyone around me. Why can't everyone know that already. Huh!!!

A Girls won!!

This year we won GOLD!!! I am so glad that we won gold. At Lindale we are going to have a banner with all our names and numbers on it. The girls have domanated the wall. There is NO boys posters so they have not won! Just what till next year mabey we will win again. Cross your fingers!!

Podcasts!

Today we listened to podcasts. A podcast is the news that kids tell about. There is no pictures. I listend to this one class that have done a podcast for each month of the year. The teachers web site is http://www.cbsd.org/millcreek/jaffe/podcast/index.html They have a good site and listen to it. I also listend to others but this was the best.

Spring!

Spring is here! Spring is here and everyone is so happy. The snow is melting and its getting muddy. We just went on the tramplen and barbqued steaks. I am just so happy that its finley here. The weather is getting better to. Some days its cold andsome days its warm. I like the warm days the best myself. There are puddles everywhere!!! Wow!

Basketball!

This year the A girls made it to the semi finals. We are in first and to get there we had to play the second best team Caronport. It was a nail biter game we only won by a basket, in over time. Now that we won we have to play Westmount. They are not the strongest team so I think we'll beat them. If we lost we would had to play Palliser witch may not have turned out right! I am so gald.

The House!

This week we got the heat going in the house! Now we are working on wiring the house for Power. We are really exited to move in! I hope we will move in before my birthday.We are heating the floor with hot water and now the floor is nice and warm. We used orange pipe so the water flowes through them!

My family is working on it and it is coming along great. My little brother is really wanting to move in so he can get a new bed and his own room so do I.

The Wii!

Last week my uncle and antie came down to our house and brought there wii! Everyone was having so much fun. There when they went to leave they for got it.My dad called them and asked if they needed a house key for it! He was comming back today any way!

Also Over the brack Alexis and I had a sleepover and went swimming! We had an exiting sleepover! it was amasing. Now I cant wait till next break.

Recognition Lunch

Yesterday we had a lunch for all helper in the school. We ordered a lot of pizzas. I sat at a table with, Katherine, Laura, Tori, Ashley and Mackenzie. I ate four pieces of it too. After we finished the pizza we got ice cream! It was a really good and I hope it will happen again. 

Willy Wonka!

We went to Willy Wonka! I sat next to Caisa and Alexis! The show did not turn out the way I thought it would.

One of my favourite part was when the inspectors where on the stage just before the show and were acting/looking around the stage. I also like the ommpa-lummpas. They were really good and new there lines!! Thoughs where the really good parts of the show.

Sledding

On Friday we went sledding on a a really fast hill. Everyone went down the hill and most of us ended up on the pond. I never made it to the pond because I kept falling of right before it. Alexis and I fell on top of each other! That I think was the best part because we just could not stop laughing! Me and my friends had some much fun going down together! It was awesome and I want to go again some time!!

The Clique

                                                I have read almost the whole series of the Clique books. There are 14 books in the whole series. There are: The Clique, Best Friend For Never, Revenge Of The Wannabes, Invasion Of The Boy Snatchers, The Pretty Committee Strikes Back, Dial L For Loser, It's Not Easy Being Mean, Sealed With A Diss, Bratfest At Tiffany's and the summer collection with: Massie, Alicia, Kristen, Dylan and Claire! They are really good books and they don't take long to read. The last one took me two nights to read. If you deiced to read the series, read the first book so it all makes sense. The author may write another book or two!!! I hope she will write more and I hope you read the series!!!  Join their web site at www.jointheclique.com. The author also has another web site at www.lisiharrison.net. In the book these 5 girl fight to be on top of everything. Dylan, Massie and Alicia are rich and got everything they want. Kristen and Claire have to get good grades! These books are all about friendship and bullying. What I really enjoyed is that these girls always have an adventure and know how to have fun! If I could be in one of the movie I would love to play Massie! I think she has a lot of  fun in the books. She is the very popular and looks really good all the time. She is in charge of the school and needs to be in the spotlight. For the first book The Clique they have just made a movie. It is really good and after you read the first book you should watch the movie. It summarises the book really well and can tell a lot of peolpe how good the books are. The books get better as they go on and so would the movies. Read them! Read them! Read them! I love them!  You'll love them too! On back of the Clique books it says "The only thing harder than getting in is staying in." 

On The A Girls Team.

In the season we have won every game so far.In the tournament next weekend we may get first! Keep your fingers crossed. (: The tournament is at Sunningdale and Palliser. I can't wait!! When I get a picture of the jersey I'll put it on here!Wow it will be awsome!!

Swift Current!!!

This year the A girls went to Swift Current. We stayed in the super 8. Our first game we played we won. That means we our on the A side. On the A side we got 3rd! The second team we played a really good team that was very rough. We did not loose to bad to them though!

On Tuesday we played Palliser and won! Yes!!!

Swift Current!!!

For the A girls we went to Swift Current! On the way there I got a ride with Ashley. It was very icy so we took our time getting there. There was 2 cars in the ditch and 1 semi. On Friday we won so we got to go on the A side. In the end we got 3rd. The second team we played was from Medicine Hat they were very ruff. They ended up getting first. It was awesome and to play Palliser tomorrow!!

Hoja

Yesterday Hoja came to our school. They have there own web site. http://www.hojaworld.com/ Its really cool and you should check it out. There sing with out instruments, just there voices. There is one with a low voice, he sings and makes instrument noises and there others sing lyrics. There are different people ever time.

My Ankle

I went over on my ankle on Tuesday. This weekend I had a basketball game and I had to watch. NOT PLAY! It was hard to watch because it's my team.

This weekend I have a tourament in Swift Current and I may not be able to play. :(

Our first game is on Thursday at Westmount. Their floor is not very good and it's slippery. It's an old gym. I hope it will be good.

Our BREAK!

We just came back from Christmas break. It was exiting and we did a lot of stuff. For New Years Eve we went to Nolan's house. We had choclate for dessert and cooked our own food for supper. We played games and watched a movie. It was so stormy we could not go home. The Crone's almost did not make it home. At 8 in the morning the dog came in and barked at the window.

Snow Day.

On Monday we had a snow day! I didn't have to go to school or leave the house. I made cookie and watched a movie. The movie was called Sidney White. It is a good movie and I think you should watch it. It was a good day and I hoped it would have happened on Tuesday.

Crazy Weekend!

This weekend was crazy! First it was Friday. I went shopping with my mom and grandma for the Christmas party. Also for the family we adopted that lives in Moose Jaw.They are a family that needed a little bit of help this Christmas. After shopping we went home to eat and for me to get ready for the party. My mom drove me in to say hi to Debbie Mackenzie's mom. One of them was when everyone was partying and having fun. There was a lot of people and I new everyone expert for one. He was there cousin so know one new him. That's just the begging of my weekend!

Second it was Saturday and the day was jammed packed.In the morning I woke up and watched Konfu Panda. That was really good. I had to make the lunches though. We had to go to basketball for me and my sister, shopping for my mom, grandma and Nathan because she needed something to ware on Christmas day, party for my mom (because it was her birthday on the 4) and going to Regina for the party. That was fun!

On Sunday we had our annual Christmas party.It where we buy presents for the little kids and have a big super. Before the Christmas party I am making gingerbread houses.We are making 2! One for ourselves and one for the Salvation Army. Also in all that my dad has a basketball game that is not a problem because it is at the same time as when my gingerbread making is happening. This weekend has been fun and exciting!

Mack's party!

On Friday the 4Th, Mackenzie is having a Christmas party. I thing that it will be fun and that we will have an awesome time. A lot of my Friends are coming to the party to dance, party and just have fun. The party is tomorrow and it could just about be the best party I went to!!

Basketball

This year I tried out for the A girls team for basketball. I made the team! We had our first practice yesterday after school. Cortni made the team with me so we can hang out with each other. The team is looking really good. I think we will work together so it will work out. I can't wait till our first game!!!!!

Robin Hood

Mussula! This year I sign up for Missoula and we are doing Robin Hood. In Robin Hood I am a Guard. We are not very smart in the play so it will be funny. There is 8 of us Me, Mackenzie, Chelsea, big Devin, little Devin, Caisia, Alana, and Keishe. We all like our parts and its nice that we know one another. The set looks great and it didn't take to long to set up. The show will be great and it will be fun.

Interviews

Interviews this year we had to go but not all of us had to go. I had to go though. It was OK but I didn't want to Go. My parents thought that I was very good and I got good.I am a strait A student. That is good and I am happy. My friends were lucky they Did not have to go. I would like to be them.

Bullying work shop

Today we went to a bullying work shop that was run by a Police Officer. He know a lot of stuff about bullying that he was sharing with use. He talk about See Say Walk Away. Witch means if you see someone getting bullyed talk to the bully then walk away. He also talked about different types of bullying. He was good and I hope we learn more.

Career Ed

We had a work shop to help us what are options are when we get into high school. Mrs.Lothian came and on this website. We played this game where you pull this lever and it shows you some weired job. I did not get anything I wanted. Then we did a test that gave you somethings that you may want to think about in your life time!

Remembrance Day Ceremony

Today we had a Remembrance day ceremony. It did not last that long. We had to sing O Canada twice one at the beginning and one in the ceremony. In our hall way we decorated it for Remembrance day. Mrs.Susut always makes it look nice.

Arthur Slade Visit

Arthur the author came to our school and talked to use about his books. The main one he talked about was Jolted. His latest book is Jolted. In the book the family gets stickied with lightning. That's why we are wearing the hats. To reflect the lightning! In the end of the book the main character gets stickied by lightning but his pig tacks it out of him. They all live in the end of the book. The boy goes and lives with his dad, his friend takes care of the pig and he falls in love with the girl he use to be enemy's with. But I think she liked him all a long because she was flirting with him!!! I really liked the book and I want to read the next one I think. Check it out on the link above!

Red Sky Theatre

Today we saw a play of a myth of the story How The Raven Stole The Sun. It was about how the dad stole the sun and the raven wants them. The raven Finlay gets the stuff out. The land was saved.

The Halloween Dance

We had a Halloween dance at our school. It was so much fun. We all enjoyed it a lot. At the dance we had snowballs, show me what you got, and freeze dances.
I danced with a lot of people, I can't count.

Leaf Art

We made leaf art! We used a real leaf and drew a bigger version.

Skeleton

I was the first to finish my skeleton. It looks really good hanging up. In the dance they will be hanging on the stage. It will look really good.

Thanksgiving

We had a thanksgiving diner at school. The dinner was good and tender. It was all cooked right and everything! I ate with my family and Laera. I had fun and I can't wait till next year!!

Hip Hop/Music

We did 2 workshops today! One was hip hop and the other one was music. The music one we played with all sorts of stuff found around your house. The hip hop was the best because we got to move more. Miss Olson taped us and I did not do to well. It was fun any
how!

Ukuleles

We are learning how to play ukuleles in music! It is fun and we are learning a lot! I think we could be really good in the end!

Election

Today we had a election at school! We had to vote and everything that you do at a really election! I was just about to vote!

Biking

On Friday we went biking
and it was tiring. It was fun but I needed water! After lunch was the best
biking! My mom came too!

Needles!

Today we get our needles! One needle was fine but the other one burned and stun when it went in. That one hurt a lot! The bad thing is the boys don't get that one! The needle hurt so much I almost fanted. Thats how scared I was!@!!

Having Fun

This year has been fun so far. We have done so much at school already. Lauran and I became realy good friends. Mack, Lauran and I are having so much fun and I hope it lasts!!

GPS

Today we had Mr. Shareski come in and teach us about GPS!

Its when satellites circle the earth and send signal that we get GPS!
The funny thing is that Mr. Sharski was my B-ball coach!

The second time we when to learn more about GPS my partner was not there. We hide paper clips. We didn't find the one we where so post too!

Art Museum

This year we went to the art gallery! We saw so much art. It was the best art I saw! I liked all the art that had a lot of detal! We also painted, I liked that! If you have been tell me!

Belugas

I saw some belugas and the at the aquarium in Vancouver! That aquarium was the best I have ever been to in my life! We all had so much fun!

Our Hike

In Falcon we went on long and tiring hike, so we had to take a brake. Where we stoped to have a brake was at a drop-off. when I looked down there was trees and bushes. I'm glade I did not fall down. That would be scary!

Down in Falcan I went horse back riding with my sister and dad! Also my grandpa came but he was reading or tring to read! this cat was crawling all over the picnic table and his book. My dad was taking a lot of pitchers from the begining to the end! I was not in many but I had fun!!!
